Things to Do

Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon is one of the most beautiful places in Arizona! February is off season and it is something I always recommend to friends and family who visit Arizona! Antelope Canyon requires a permit to enter and the website will take you to a tour I have taken in the past. There are multiple options to buy a permit but this is just one. The Navajo Nation is such a remarkable part of Arizona and is home to Antelope Canyon. Northern AZ can be very cold in the winter so pack winter clothes and be prepared for some potential snow along the drive. You will not be disappointed!

Sedona

There are SO many hikes and trails to check out in Sedona! Seth and I got engaged on Devil’s Bridge in Sedona which is a fun hike to check out. I always recommend Cathedral Rock, the view is incredible!

The Birthing Cave and Soldier’s Pass are other trails that come highly recommended in Sedona. West Fork Oak Creek Trail is another option for less of a hike and more of a nature walk. One thing is for sure, you won’t be disappointed with any hiking option in Sedona!

Grand Canyon

A trip to the Grand Canyon is a sight to see and leaves you appreciating our Maker’s hand even more! The website will take you the platform to buy a permit to enter the park! Northern Arizona can be cold in February so be sure to pack some warm clothes and be prepared for potential snow fall :)

Hiking

Hiking is one of my favorite hobbies and something that Arizona is known for! Phoenix has plenty of hikes to offer. Some that I have done and would recommend are:

Camelback Mountain: This hike is difficult and challenging! Fun to say you conquered the hike, but be prepared to need lots of water, good hiking shoes, and plenty of breaks along the way. You will have view of all of the Phoenix Valley from this hike!

Piestewa Peak: I call this hike the stair master hike, It’s a challenging hike that takes about 3-4 hours up and back. You will feel like are on a stair maser the entire hike up, but the views are pretty great.

South Mountain: This mountain has several hikes to choose from with varying degrees of difficulty. I enjoy the Pima Canyon Trailhead, which has various paths to take. A quick google search or All Trails app search will help you find the right trail based on what you’d like to do!

Superstition Moutains: This mountain range has several hikes to choose from as well and has varying degrees of difficulty. Our venue will face the superstitions, they are beautiful!

Hole in the Rock: This hike is more of a walk around Papago Park and is near the Phoenix Zoo. This hike gives pretty cool views of downtown Phoenix!

Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is about 10 minutes from Antelope Canyon and is worth the short drive over!
