Colton and Seyla met on Seyla’s first day of college at the University of Pittsburgh. Colton played football and Seyla played soccer. He decided to “whiteboard” her bed with all of his friends and it led to a great friendship. They were always hanging out in their friend group which then led to being one of each others best friends. They say fall in love with your best friend, so that’s what ended up happening when Seyla was a Sophomore and Colton a Junior. After each of their graduations, Seyla went off to graduate school in Cleveland Ohio and Colton stayed to coach football at Pitt. This was the start of their “long distance” relationship. Colton eventually decided to leave coaching and moved to Nashville which is where they will start their life together, finally, in the same place! Having a long distance relationship is never easy, but it seemed to work ¯\_( ˘͡ ˘̯)_/¯ After 8 years of dating, they got engaged :)
