Jaggo, which means "wake up," is a Punjabi pre-wedding ritual similar to the Sangeet night. It involves singing, dancing, and celebrating into the late hours, signifying the joyous union of the bride and groom. Traditionally, relatives and friends gather at the bride and groom’s homes, carrying decorated pots (gaggar) on their heads, singing traditional songs, and dancing to the beat of the dhol.
