Where is the wedding?
We have opted to do a destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun Mexico.
Is there a wedding attire?
We are kindly asking all guest to wear shades of brown. The wedding attire is semi-formal.
When should I RSVP by?
The last date to RSVP is September 1, 2025.
Have you reserved a block of rooms?
We have reserved a block of rooms at Royalton Riveria Cancun. The travel is being handled through Finding Serenity Travel. There is a non-refundable deposit of $150 per room has to be made no later than June 15.
What room options are there?
We have reserved rooms from multiple room categories. There are only a certain number of each room categories available and those are on a first come first serve basis. We can not hold any rooms.
Is transportation included?
There are roundtrip transfers included with your room purchase. Details of that information will be provided closer to your departure date.
Are there any group excursions?
At this time there are no group excursions planned,
What is the best airport to fly into?
It is recommended to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).
Can I add flights on to my room or do I have to purchase them sepearately?
Yes you can add on roundtrip flights and make an vacation package for additional cost.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes there is a payment plan. You can make monthly payments, or payments whenever you want as long as the balance is paid in full no later than February 15, 2026.
What is the weather like in Cancun in May?
In May, Cancun typically experiences warm and humid weather, with average high temperatures around 88°F and low temperatures around 73°F
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception. It is recommended to bring cash tips for the bartenders.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites.
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome cocktail party on the evening before our wedding. More details to come.
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Yes! Our wedding hashtag is #OnCloudNIXON. It'll also be posted around the venue for your convenience.
Where will wedding updates be posted?
Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website homepage and texts messages will be sent out anytime there is an update.
