Our Wedding

It all started at a friend's going away/ “we’re married” party—a bustling night filled with laughter, friends and family, where their paths first crossed.&nbsp; Dee noticed Shameika across the room, drawn to her energy and mystery. Though they exchanged only a fleeting glance, Dee left with a mind full of questions and a feeling that something significant had just happened. Fate brought them together again at another gathering, but the words still wouldn't come. A few glances, a simple "hello," and they were again separated before a real conversation could spark. But this time, Dee left knowing her name—Shameika. Then, the third time, indeed, was the charm. At a BET Awards viewing party, Shameika made a grand entrance, still basking in the glow of her birthday celebration the night before. This time, the ice was broken, and they laughed, shared stories, and, by some twist of fate, ended up cuddled on the couch. A month later, after some playful group texting and a few more missed chances, their paths converged again. Something sparked from that first genuine conversation, and they've been inseparable ever since. Their story is one of chance encounters, missed connections, and finally, summoning the courage to express what matters most. And now, as they prepare to say "I do," they're grateful for every twist, every look, and every moment that brought them here—together.
