Things to Do
We strongly encourage you to explore the beautiful city of Charlottesville. It was one of the very first trips Shana & Wesley took together, and we quickly fell in love—with each other and with this place.
Whether you’re strolling the historic grounds of the University of Virginia or spending the day sipping delicious wine at some of the most scenic vineyards around, we hope you soak it all in and have the best time exploring.
Early Mountain Vineyards
If you plan on flying into DC, we highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner on your way to Charlottesville.
Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards
A great winery to visit. Amazing views. Grab a table on the patio.
Monticello
If you need to kill some time, and want to learn some history. Make sure to visit Thomas Jefferson's historical home.
King Family Vineyards
A great place if the weather is nice. Sit outside with a glass of wine, and take in the mountains in the background.
Dürty Nelly's Pub - Deli
A great late night(or any time) hangout. See which band is playing, and grab a few beers
Bodo's Bagels
Whether you are hungry, hungover, or both. Bodo's is a must for breakfast (multiple locations).

One of our favorite places for dinner.

C & O Restaurant
If you feel like splurging for dinner, visit C&O. The outside is inconspicuous, the food is fantastic. Make a reservation!!
