Our Wedding

In August 2019, Mike and Shana first met while working with mutual friends on a short film project in Philadelphia. They both kept in touch through email and it wasn't long before their first date was scheduled. What was originally planned as a quick lunchtime meet up in the city, evolved into a fifteen mile bicycle ride to a horse farm for a picnic with Wawa sandwiches and salt & vinegar potato chips. Mike and Shana's shared faith, undeniable chemistry, and affinity for obscure television & cartoon references were all evidence they are each other's destiny.   Months later, Shana half-jokingly said she would accept a proposal from Mike even if he asked with a potato. Last April, they went for a hike at the Delaware Water Gap and Mike brought along a hollowed out potato with a ring inside. Once they arrived at a scenic area on the trail, Mike took the potato out of his backpack and Shana said yes!   Shana and Mike both can't wait to celebrate together with family and friends.
