Erick and Shana met in the lobby of their apartment building in Wynwood, Miami in August of 2019. Shana was moving into her apartment and was having trouble getting everything into the lobby. Erick was just finishing work and was making a b-line toward the elevator. But before he could reach the elevator, the concierge interjected and introduced the two.

After introductions, the concierge slyly recommended Erick help Shana take her things to her apartment. Put on the spot, Erick obliged and the rest is history. They would go on various dates around Miami before they realized they were each other’s soul mates. After 3 years of courtship and many trips around the world, Erick proposed to Shana at the Miami Symphony in front of hundreds, but most importantly, her family. They now live happily in Miami with their 3 year old dog, Simba Wolf Gavin!
