All wedding events will be held at the Hyatt Resort chain of hotels on Cozumel island. Dreams Cozumel Cape, Secrets Aura Cozumel and Sunscapes Sabor Cozumel.

Yes, you will need to get a passport. Passport times can take up to a couple months to receive them, so plan ahead! Typically, it needs to be VALID for six months past your stay so also double check it is not going to expire.

We have recruited, for your convenience, our travel agent through etravelomaha.com. If you email them directly through their website they will have all information needed to get the whole trip booked. Just tell them Knabenbauer Wedding!

We suggest talking to our travel agent about this, but we recommend not waiting until the last minute as prices could go up!

If you book through our travel agent provided, they will know, but if you choose to book on your own, we recommend flying directly into Cozumel. If you fly into Cancun it will add hours onto your travel.

The welcome party will be Tuesday April 22, 2025. Rehearsal dinner will be Wednesday April 23, 2025. Wedding will be Thursday April 24, 2025.

We loved Dreams, it gives you full access to all the hotels and restaurants. Secrets is great if you are looking for an adults only aspect, but we recommend doing the preferred because it gives access to all the hotels and restaurants. We really do not recommend anyone stay at Sunscapes.

Although we adore your kids, we have elected to make all of the events adults only. Even the best parents need a break sometimes, so consider making this a lovely trip for you and your significant other to enjoy! We hope you respect and understand our choice!

There is a resort fee of $85 per person per event if you stay off resort. But again please note, you have three different options to stay at: Dreams, Secrets, and Sunscapes that are included under the Hyatt.

Cozumel island is just as safe as anywhere else, just as always keep your wits about you. The resorts are extremely safe on the island.

If you are not going through our travel agent, just make sure your “transfers” are included while booking.

The snorkel trip is the only wedding event that is NOT going to be paid for. We are trying to not over-book the size of the boat needed, so we will have a final cost once we have a final count of guests that want to go. It will be no more than $50USD.
