It was October 2023 when Shanelle got a Facebook friend request from William.

Shanelle’s POV
“ I thought we had met irl because we had a lot of mutual friends, Henry Breidenbach , Jack Cook, Dylan Grueninger, Conner Nagel, Marcus Swafford, and Willie Bennett and I usually don’t accept friend requests from people I don’t actually know, and on top of that Williams profile picture was not of himself but of a character called Morty from a cartoon called Rick& Morty.
Anyway I accepted the request and he started casually responding to my stories every so often, I didn’t really start responding until January, then in February 2024 the day after Valentine’s Day, he decided to shoot his shot as they say! He complimented me which immediately got my attention and a response and said it looked like I was having a lot of fun out with my girlfriends on Valentine’s Day…looking back on it I guess me being out with friends on Valentine’s Day was pretty good confirmation I was single, smart tactic, smart man 😏. After that we started texting more frequently over the next month but he still hadn’t asked me out on a date!
Then, the day of his Birthday April 4th 2024 he finally asked me out, to dinner he planned to go to Lulu’s noodles a Thai restaurant, which if you know me I love Thai food so I agreed only after putting him to work! I had just bought an espresso machine for my coffee shop and needed help picking it up, I asked him if he would help me and he did. We had a lovely day and a series of lovely days, I was definitely putting him to work, I remember those first few weeks of our courtship he cut my grass and fixed some things around my shop and a few weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend, I said yes, and then a year later he asked me to be his wife!!! I said yes again obviously!!

Now here we are getting married, having a baby and ready for our life to begin!

William’s POV

“ It was just another day in the trap house and I decided to change my life. Im kidding I wasn’t in the trap house baby, but I don’t remember requesting you on Facebook in October, the first time I remember talking to you was in February, it was my first time laying eyes on you.
I remember it was February, I thought you lived in Columbus or Cleveland but then I saw your story and I found out you were just down the street, I remember I was trying to talk to you about Star Wars on your one story. Then you needed your grass cut I think, hold on let me think about what happened”

THREE HOURS LATER….

“Ok so I remember on April 7th we went out for ice cream at that ice cream place you like Jeni’s” (Shanelle now knows William doesn’t even like ice cream) “and by April 11th we were already over whooping, look at these messages we were sending hearts and stuff saying I miss you, yep…I knew before I even met you in person remember I wanted you to meet my mom on our first date on my birthday!
I knew she would like you and I knew you were special.
