Randy and Shania are both from the community of Dover District in Kitson Town St. Catherine. Though residing in the same community their communication was always limited to greetings, until July 2016 when Randy became a Christian and a member of the Dover Baptist Church that Shania attended. This was the launching pad for their friendship. Shania, who then served as the Youth President for the church initiated a conversation with Randy by way of inviting him to weekly youth fellowship.They developed a great friendship which saw Randy walking her home nightly and daily after whatever engagement they had at church.

Not knowing their friendship would blossom even more and eventually, the two would meet in attraction on the night of September 25, 2019.Randy’s need for an insect repellant saw him journeying to Shania’s home that night. They spent hours talking that night sparking the beginning of their four-year relationship.

After years of laughter, tears, and unwavering support for one another, Randy proposed at the sunlit luscious Hope Botanical Garden surrounded by immediate family. With a heart full of love, he asked Shania to be his partner for life, and she joyfully accepted, knowing that their love was not just a bond between two souls, but a union blessed by God.

We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our family and friends.
