Shanice - A young lady who is much reserved and enjoy time spent with family and friends.

Miguel - A young man who is more outgoing and adventurous.

Through a mutual friend we were introduced and with innocence on both sides a friendship produced.

Opposites they say attract which we have proven to be true, this pulled us together we could never withdrew😊. One common ground we found from the early stages is our love and appreciation for God. Soon our conversation evolved into shared interest, dreams and laughter, exchanged through messages and calls.

Despite living in different parishes, and the fact that seeing each other seem like a daunting obstacle, it did not hinder us but only fueled our growing connection.

Miguel's POV

In September 2020, fate smiled on us and Shanice moved to Kingston, this was exciting as now we would finally meet. I remembered the birth of Jesus and about how the different gifts brought by the wise men had great significance, I decided to commemorate our first meeting with something sweet and special, and so I did an impromptu visit to her workplace with gifts. I remembered vividly the butterflies I felt when I saw her, and how I smiled each time she smiled.

Shanice's POV

I remember seeing a message saying I am outside I was shocked, upon arriving where he was, I thought oh wow he is tall. He was nervous, sweating and he hardly spoke. I took charge of the small conversation, thanked him for the gifts and then we said our goodbyes.

The Matrimonial Route

In December 2020 our connection was made official. The air filled with anticipation and promise of a new chapter our journey we started to trod, with understanding for each other we embarked on a path ahead. It was not all roses, but we made it through, a lifelong journey to pursue.

As we journey on with the help of God, may we enter through the gates of everlasting love, filled with happiness, good health, stability and great memories as we continue to write our narrative. As the rest we all say will be history.

Two hearts become one as two families starts to bond.
