You can bring gifts and cards to the wedding, we will have a gift table and box for cards set up in the reception hall. If you got a gift and either are unable to make it in attendance or don’t want to bring it with you, you can ship it to our home address anytime just leave a note on it so we know who it is from and can thank you properly!

As much as we adore your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. If we were to invite all the kids of our loved ones, our guest count would quickly grow beyond what our budget (and venue!) can handle. The only exception are the ones in the wedding party. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a date night on us to relax, let loose, and celebrate with us!

The dress code is semi-formal to formal. For women, we suggest cocktail dresses or formal dresses (please wear nothing in the color white or any shade of blue). For men, a suit or dress pants with a button-down shirt is perfect—ties are welcome but not required. Please no jeans, shorts, or sneakers. We’d love for everyone to look polished and feel their best with the perfect excuse to get all dressed up for the evening!

Your presence means the world to us, and we're so grateful you're considering joining us on such an important day. As we finalize details with our venue and caterer, it's important for us to have an accurate guest count. We kindly ask that you only RSVP “yes” if you’re certain you’ll be attending. Each guest is accounted for in our planning — from seating to meals — and no-shows have a real impact on both cost and food waste. If you know that you cannot be in attendance, please be courteous to RSVP "not attending" at your earliest convenience. If your plans change after you RSVP, please let us know as soon as possible. We truly appreciate your consideration and respect for the planning process.

Due to limited capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed by name on your invitation. If you were given a plus 1 it will show on your invitation. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!

The ceremony will take place outdoors but it's under a shelter so in the event of rainy weather, everyone will be covered! The reception will be held inside the venue, offering coverage and comfort for the rest of the evening.

Arriving 20-30 minutes before the ceremony starts is ideal. This gives time to park, walk down to the site and grab a seat. Please do not arrive any sooner than 3:30 PM. Ceremony will begin at 4 PM.

4752 Old Julian Rd, Julian NC 27283. It’s out in the country a little bit so once you get on Old Julian Rd, drive slow or you may miss the turn onto the venue property. It won’t stick out from the road and be easily visible, but you will see a small wooden sign at the entrance. It’s called Whispering Oaks.

Yes, parking is offered on the venue property but we kindly ask that you coordinate carpooling with others, if possible, as the space has the potential to get tight.
