It all began during Thanksgiving break in 2019, when Julien sent Shannan a message on Instagram with a simple invitation: Do you want to play tennis? Little did they know, this casual text would mark the start of something unforgettable. Their first date on November 30th, 2019 was nothing short of magical. Julien and Shannan played tennis in the rain (because why not?), laughed their way through a competitive game of Monopoly, and ended the evening with Julien serenading Shannan in the jacuzzi. To top it off, they had sushi, the perfect combination of fun, adventure, and connection. After an unforgettable first date, Julien asked Shannan what her plans were the next day. She casually told him she was going skydiving but they agreed to go on a second date afterwards. Shannan went with Julien to a breathtaking viewpoint on Mulholland Dr. and then dropped Julien off at the airport to go back to school in Northern California. Shannan thought she might never hear from Julien again. But to her surprise, the very next day after her classes at UCLA, she had a missed call from Julien. I’m coming back to see you in December, Julien said, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Their connection deepened as time went on. They discovered that their birthdays were just two days apart- Julien’s on April 13th and Shannan’s on April 15th. Together, they shared many adventures, from their beloved tennis matches to spontaneous trips around the world from Japan, France, Spain, Hawaii, and countless other places where they created memories that would last a lifetime. They also had a little companion along the way: their adorable kitty, Sima, who is always by their side as they navigate life together. Whether they are working hard to support one another or pushing each other to be their best selves, their love grows stronger every day. Now, as they stand on the brink of forever, Julien and Shannan can look back on their journey with full hearts, knowing that their love story is only just beginning. They are each other’s greatest adventure, and the best is yet to come. Game...set...match made in heaven!
