When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP asap (by March 31) so we can plan accordingly.

Do I need a visa or ETIAS travel authorization to enter Europe/Italy?

All you need is a valid U.S. passport (passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay) and proof of a return ticket. U.S. citizens may enter Italy for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. You may have seen news surrounding new ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) travel authorization starting in 2025, however, this has been postponed and will start operations in the last quarter of 2026.

Can my children attend?

While we love your children, our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only (21+) celebration. However, children are welcome to join us for the welcome party on June 22 and the day-after gathering on June 24! We’ve connected with many of you who are interested in bringing children to help arrange childcare for the wedding day and evening. If you need any assistance, please feel free to reach out to Shannon and Michael.

Can I bring a date?

Please refer to your invitation to see if you have a plus one! Due to the strictly limited venue capacity, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invite join us.

What should I wear?

Please see the home page schedule as well as the attire page for details and inspiration on wedding day attire. We can't wait to see you all looking your best!

When should I book my flights and accommodation?

We recommend booking early/ASAP, especially for peak travel times in Italy.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Everything will be outdoors to soak in as much of the beautiful surroundings as possible!

What will the weather be like?

Italy in June is perfect weather! Siena is typically warm and sunny with daytime highs around 80°F (27°C) and overnight lows around 59°F (15°C).

Where should I park?

There is free parking at the venue for each event.

What kind of food will be served?

We will be enjoying amazing Italian cuisine - prepare for fresh pasta and Italian vino! Our guests can indicate dietary restrictions on the RSVP form.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Yes! However, please be mindful and don't block anyone else's view or get in the way of the professional photographer - we want to remember the day but also want everyone to enjoy themselves and live in the moment!

How do we connect once we're in Italy?

We will start a WhatsApp group for all attendees 1 week prior to the wedding so everyone can connect, ask questions, locate each other, share photos, etc.

Who should I contact if I have questions?

Contact Shannon with any burning questions that are not answered here!

What else should I know (Rome)?

The Italian Catholic Jubilee is taking place in Italy this year which means there will be extra tourists in Rome and the Vatican City. Taking place every 25 years, this year-long period of celebration, reflection, and forgiveness draws a massive crowd. This sacred event will be filled with many festivities, spiritual activities and cultural experiences, promising to attract visitors from all over. If you're planning to visit Rome before or after our wedding, we recommend staying on the outskirts of the city.

What else should I know (Venice)?

Additionally, there are rumors buzzing that Jeff Bezos is getting married in Venice June 24-26. Reports state this is drawing many celebrities to the floating city and as a result, they have reserved numerous water taxis and will be taking over many of the high-end hotels. Would be mindful of this if you are planning to visit Venice shortly before or after our wedding.
