Can I bring my kids?
No. Given our reception’s close proximity and easy access to the large Meremac River, we have decided only to invite those 12 years and older. We hope that parents of younger children understand and can enjoy their evening worry-free.
You didn’t ask for my dinner choice?
That’s right! We will be having a buffet catered by one of our favorite restaurants, The Vine Mediterranean Cafe.
We encourage you to look over their menu to get an idea of what will be served and let us know via your RSVP if you have a food allergy or specific need (including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free).
What does formal & funky mean?
Think disco vibes in a forest: bright colors, bold patterns, fun textures...have fun with it! Just be sure you can eat and dance!
Everyone is thinking it...open bar?
Hell yes!
Do I have to drive from my hotel to the venue?
No! We are providing a shuttle service to take guests to/from the nearby Pinemark Inn and our venue for a fun and safe evening.
An outside wedding in Missouri, what weather should I expect?
Early October in Missouri is normally beautiful! The average high is around 75, with an average low of around 50. That being said, Missouri can have a late hot spell, so please check your weather apps as you pack. An early fall heat wave in 2023 kept highs near 90, with lows in the mid-60s for the week leading up to October 5th. Rain is not unheard of, but not common this time of year (so fingers crossed!). The rain plan is moving the ceremony under the large pavilion where the reception occurs, so plan to be outside the entire time no matter what!
Do we have to get a hotel?
No! There is a limited amount of space for tent camping available for free alongside our glamping accommodations! Please reach out to one of us ASAP if this interests you.
I'm here for a whole weekend…what is there to do in St. Clair, Missouri?
Lots! Visit our Things to Do page for all our recommendations on restaurants, activities, and attractions both in the St. Clair area and back in our home of St. Louis, which is an easy 1 hour drive away!
If none of these pique your interest, consider spending time with us on the glamp-ground! Weather permitting, we plan on hiking, swimming, kayaking, and relaxing around the large property.
Can I bring my dog to the glamp-ground to stay or visit during the weekend?
No. As much as we love all dogs, only Cricket is allowed on the property during the weekend.
a note on cell phone service.
Due to the beautiful rural setting of our venue, you may have spotty cell service during the weekend, both of us did while visiting (AT&T and T-Mobile). We suggest loading maps and taking screenshots of directions to hotels and the venue ahead of time, just in case.
