Even though we both went to the University of Illinois, we didn't meet there. On May 16th, 2023, we bumped into each other in the Rate Field (Sox Park) parking lot through mutual friends. A week later, Stratton asked for a date and as the saying goes, the rest is history! Since then, we've been to 3 countries, 7 states, 8 weddings, and 2 ski trips with more memories to come!

On June 18th, 2025, Stratton proposed at the Parc de la Colline du Chateau in Nice, France. During the proposal, a flood of emotions was felt by both of us. We're so excited to spend forever together!
