It all started with a swipe right. Their first date was held in Wausau, WI for breakfast. The connection was strong and they knew many more dates were to come. March 23rd, 2019 they were officially girlfriend and boyfriend. After a short two months they moved in together. This might seem crazy to some but you know what they say, when you know you know.

June 3rd, 2019 they adopted their dog Badger. Badger was definitely their baby. He was the most gentle, goofy, and energetic puppy you would have ever met. Throughout the years of owning Badger, he developed a condition that caused him to have seizures. Caring for him, vet visit after vet visit, it was determined he had a small hole in his brain and he would end up taking medication three times a day. Almost two years later, July of 2021 Badger passed away.

One short week later Shannon found out she was pregnant with their daughter Cleo. A worldwide of emotions hit Shannon and Colton as they prepared for parenthood. Shannon gave birth to Cleo in April of 2022. The couple tackled parenthood and have continued to create many memories with their baby girl. They were raising their daughter in an apartment for the first year, they decided to buy a house in April of 2023.

Shortly after moving Shannon found out she was pregnant with their son, Bennett. Bennett was born February of 2024.

In April of 2024 Shannon's family came for a visit. While they were in town, Colton took Shannon for a date night in Wausau, WI. Colton took Shannon on top of Rib Mountain, looking over the view, and got down on one knee. Of course she said YES!!! Little did Shannon know, Colton had his friend hiding taking photos and a celebration dinner was planned.

In September of 2024 Shannon and Colton decided to sell their house and take a leap of faith with moving to Alaska. Shannon and Colton have been enjoying their new journey.

Throughout the years of being together they have grown as individuals and a couple. Their love is never ending and they can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
