When is the RSVP deadline?
Please have your rsvp responses by December 20th to ensure we can save you a seat (and a plate)!
What if I don’t RSVP on time or at all?
RSVP responses are needed for us to give final headcount to vendors and make sure everyone has a seat as well as food and beverages. If you do not RSVP by December 20th you will be marked as not attending and will not have these accommodations.
What is on the menu for the reception?
Smokin' Mama’s Burgers and Barbecue is catering a buffet-style dinner for the reception, featuring a variety of meats, including brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and smoked sausages, as well as sides and salad.
What is parking like at the venue?
The ceremony and reception are both held at a small, intimate church, so in addition to the church’s lot, we will have a space for overflow parking just across the street.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are so excited to celebrate our love on the big day and wish we could do so with every single person we know and love. However, due to the small and intimate nature of our venue, we are restricting plus ones to only those listed on the invitations.
Is there a dress code?
Please celebrate with us in semi-formal or dressy casual attire for the ceremony and reception! This includes dress pants, kakis, dress shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses etc. We want every guest to feel comfortable and confident at our celebration while also keeping the sanctity of the church.
Are children welcome?
We love your little ones, and if they are listed on your invitation, they are more than welcome to attend! Please remember to notify us in advance so we can provide accommodations if needed.
What time should I arrive at the venue?
Please plan to arrive between 2:30 and 2:45 pm. Be mindful that after 3:00, the doors of the church will be locked until after the ceremony to reduce disruption.
Is the venue wheelchair/handicap accessable?
The church and venue are both handicap accessible, and handicap parking can be reserved if necessary. Please reach out with any further concerns regarding accessibility.
Will the wedding be inside or outside?
The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors. However, the fellowship hall is a separate building from the chapel, so remember to bring a coat for the short walk between buildings.
Can I take and post pictures?
We ask that during the ceremony guests keep their phones silent and put away to reduce disturbances and interference with the photographer’s shots. If you take photos during the reception or before/after the ceremony, we would love to see them posted!
I have a question about the wedding the week/day of. Who do I contact?
Feel free to contact the Maid of Honor at (304) 972-9274 ! Thank you in advance!
Do I need to bring a gift?
Absolutely not! Gifts are appreciated but completely optional.
Will there be things for my kids to do?
We are working on getting together activities to entertain your little ones and make sure they have a good time. Please remember to let us know on your rsvp if they are attending so we can be prepared!
