Our story all started with a swipe right and a message sliding in Shannon’s Instagram DM by Dylan. The moment we met we both knew it was going to be our forever person. Right away we could spend hours together and we were always laughing. When filling out our favorite things about each other, we both said our humor is our favorite thing about one another. We started dating right before 2020 and when the world shut down. 2020 was a difficult year for many, going through a global pandemic and Shannon losing her Grandma. It grew our relationship stronger and we knew from our first year together that as long as we had each other we could get through anything. As well as always having Dylan to make Shannon smile so much her cheeks hurt or laugh so hard that she cries and snorts out.

Another big aspect in our relationship has been supporting each other’s dreams and career goals. Shannon decided to go back to SJSU to get her Masters Degree in Teaching in 2021. It was a year and a half with hard work and time spent in school and away from Dylan. Dylan always supported Shannon throughout this challenging journey and was her biggest cheerleader. Dylan also decided to change jobs during this time and work for a new insurance company. We value supporting each other in our careers and always striving to be the best partner we can be!
