Matthew and Shannon met on a dating app and talked for about three months before we went on our first date.

Shannon grew up in Sandgate Vermont and graduated from Arlington Memorial High School. After high school she worked as a pharmacy tech for Whipple Pharmacy an independent pharmacy in Manchester before working for Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington Vermont. She then decided to get her medical coding certificate. She now works from home for VRS Disability Management doing audits.

Matt grew up in Warrensburg New York and graduated for Warrensburg High School. He worked at many different construction companies and then joined the Marines. He served over in Iraq. He then came home and decided he couldn't continue with the marines because he had a young son and wanted to watch him grow up. He now works in the maintenance department for the Hudson Falls School District.

Matt and Shannon have both dealt with loss of loved ones and because of that they know that you never know what will happen in life and it can all be taken away too soon. With that they have decided to live every day to the fullest as if it is their last.
