Shannon Feeley born in Phoenix, AZ on November 26, 1996. Baby sister to brother Sean and sister Cecilia. Daughter of Mike and Cathy Feeley.

Romain Rabany born in Mesa, AZ on November 17, 1998. Baby brother to Camille. Daughter of Antoine and Reine Rabany. Other than the Rabany family moving to China for 4 years for Antoine’s work, the lovebirds grew up in the Ahwatukee area. Surely crossing paths at some point.

Mountain Pointe High school is where these sweetheart’s first officially cross paths. Shannon Feeley, a pending 2015 graduate, meets Romain Rabany who is future class of 2016. Starting with messages on twitter to then days of texting Shannon and Romain quickly notice they may have a connection. This leads to a first date at the AMC in Ahwatukee which then leads to more dates.

On December 13th, 2014, Romain asks Shannon to be his girlfriend and before they know it, they become HS sweethearts…graduate and move onto the next college phase while staying together. Shannon gets her teaching degree from NAU (Phoenix campus), while Romain gets his first science undergraduate degree from ASU and moves on to Creighton Medical School at the new DT Phoenix campus. Shannon teaching second grade in Kyrene School District. They both weather the challenging “Covid” storm. Adding some feline pets along the way…currently proud parents to Luffy and Boo. Many trips and treasured memories created since beginning their long “love” journey. Including numerous family gatherings in Europe, Mexico, various states for family weddings, and of course lots of memories at families homes here in Arizona.

Now…a little ribbing about the future Rabany couple.

Romain is known for his laid-back nature, a perfect balance to Shannon's occasional fretting and worries, which he navigates with ease. He has a knack for knowing just what to say (and what not to say) to navigate life's challenges together. On the flip side, Romain has been known to self-diagnose a variety

of medical conditions throughout med-school, but Shannon has always supported him unwaveringly. Both Romain and Shannon share a goofy sense of humor, which is

fortunate as they both have thick skins and enjoy self-deprecating humor, a trait necessary for survival, especially in the Feeley/Curtis family. Romain's candidness and

willingness to share whatever is on his mind provide endless entertainment for everyone

around him.

The Engagement

November 18th, 2023 was the most beautiful setting and proposal up at a Vineyard in Northern AZ. Celebrated by several family members and extended close friends.

Romain “put a ring on it/Shannon”, it is stunning. Well done “Lettuce” as he is affectionately called. What a beautiful memory to cherish.

December 13, 2024 will mark the 10 year “dating” anniversary, and the wedding day we have all been patiently waiting for. And it is also Taylor Swift’s Birthday!!!!
