Q + A

Where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Tall Oaks West in Sheffield, specifically at The Island Barn. When you arrive at the venue, you'll first see the Main Barn — drive past it and follow the road toward the back of the property. There, you’ll find The Island Barn, where all the celebrations will take place. Signs will help guide you once you're on-site!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Cocktail Attire, with a touch of elegance. For men, a suit and tie is perfect, but slacks with a button-down or blazer are also appropriate. For women, we recommend an elegant cocktail dress, midi dress, long dress, or a chic jumpsuit — something polished and celebratory. Think dressy, but not overly formal — we want you to feel comfortable and stylish!

Are there hotel blocks or recommendations?

Can I bring a plus-one & are kids welcome?

If we’ve planned for you to have a plus-one, you’ll see that noted in your invitation — for example, an extra meal selection card or entrée option included. If you didn’t receive this but are hoping to bring someone, feel free to reach out to the bride or groom. That said, please know a lot of thought went into the guest list, and no one was left out on purpose. We may also be at capacity for the evening, so we appreciate your understanding. As for children, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for them to stay at home so that everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration. However, if bringing your kids is a priority for your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.

Who can I contact if I have more questions?
