Shannon and Parker met while they were attending college at Western Connecticut State University, specifically in finance class, a class that Parker excelled in and Shannon...not so much.

A mutual friend (who TOTALLY had a crush on Parker) was gossiping with Shannon during class one day where Shannon expressed the beginning of her interest in Parker, and she, selflessly, was ON IT! From there, she started a group chat with herself, Shannon and Parker where they were all able to plan to work in a group for class from then on.

I have to point out Shannon's bravery, courage and persistence as the two started getting to know each other more and more (and no, this is DEFINITELY not Shannon writing this story out...). She had to take the reins in order for the two to start having conversations outside of class, and that she did! She courageously...followed Parker on Instagram AND added him on Snapchat. How could he NOT get the hint?! Luckily, he did.

Sadly the semester was coming to an end and Shannon and Parker weren't too sure what was going to happen, as he lived about an hour away from campus and Shannon was only about 10-15 minutes. But, Parker didn't expect to miss her so much once he moved home...within a few days he was asking her when he could see her next! Next thing Shannon knew, she was rearranging her entire work schedule so that weekends could be dedicated to going to visit Parker.

To say that their relationship grew completely seamlessly from there would be an understatement. They moved into their first apartment just 2 years after they started dating (which just so happened to be CONNECTED to Parker's office) and adapted quickly to living together. During a pandemic nonetheless...I don't think there could BE a bigger test to adjusting to living with someone for the first time!

A short while after that, they got their first baby...Sophie the dog.

Now, 6 years after they met, they're living in their 3rd place together, traveling the world together, growing so much with each other by their sides, and planning their wedding together. They could NOT be more excited for what the future has in store for them. They know that as long as they have each other, they can and will accomplish anything and everything. Most importantly, they cannot wait to celebrate their love with each and every one of you.
