Victor and Shannon became aware of each other's existence sitting side by side in their General Chemistry class their freshman year of undergrad at The Ohio State University. One might say they had chemistry together.

Time passed and they became closer and closer friends. Shannon used to say Victor was the funniest person she knew. Victor used to say he was the funniest person he knew as well.

Their first date (not including the countless hours studying together, hanging out with friends, or getting food at the dining halls) was going to Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo, the very place where they plan to get hitched. This went undocumented, but the couple made many zoo trips after…

Then Victor and Shannon spent the rest of their undergrad years together. Most of that time was spent studying, hanging out in Victor’s apartment with his roommate Kordell, making time for friends, going to dinner, movies, and eventually graduating together….

… then Victor moved up to Toledo to get some more degrees and continue his journey to medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences…

… and Shannon stuck around in Columbus to get some more degrees and continue her journey to veterinary school at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine…

… along came Ernie, their fur child and overall best dog they could ever ask for ever…

… and while they’ve spent some years technically distant, they’ve still made so many memories together. Through the best and the worst of times, they managed to continue to study together….

… try out new restaurants…

… see too many movies…

... travel...

… share so many holidays…

… and all the while have conversations that seemed endless with smiles, laughter, and all the love in the world to share. While it wasn’t always easy, this time really showed the two how much they were truly made for each other and how they really could spend the rest of their years as partners in crime.

Then, on an impromptu trip down to Orlando, and while at Universal in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Victor asked Shannon to stay with him always…

… and, of course, she said yes.

Shortly after the U.S. Air Force sent Victor off to Alabama for months of training while Shannon continued her vet school grind. Victor became sleep deprived, but a Second Lieutenant all the same.

Victor eventually came back to Ohio, and they’ve spent the rest of their days schooling, working, planning, and getting ready for their happily ever after to come...
