What should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is dressy casual. Men's attire - Dress pants with a button-down shirt. Tie & sport coat optional. No jeans please. Ladies attire - Cocktail or a dressy sun dress of appropriate length or pants & blouse. Jacket recommended.

What will the weather be like?

Weather can vary. It is best to check the weather week of wedding. In February the average high is 76F and low is 58F.

Where is the ceremony & reception taking place?

Ceremony & reception will be at the same location, The Kitchings Pavilion in Jonathan Dickinson State Park. No travel or transportation will be required between ceremony & reception.

Ceremony & reception setting:

Ceremony & reception will be in the same location. It is outdoors. The reception will be held under a large pavilion with solid flooring.

What if I want to Uber?

Uber will be able to drop you off, but it will not be able to pick you up at the end of the night. The park closes at sunset, so if you are using Uber be sure to have a plan for the end of the night.

What if I can't make it?

While we would love to have you join us, we understand if you immediately know you are unable to attend, please contact Shannon.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult event, so everyone can enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time. The only children that will be in attendance are family members.

Can I bring a guest?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can we RSVP online?

We prefer you to mail back the pre stamped RSVP card. However, if you are unable to mail it in, you can RSVP on our wedding website.

Where are you registered?

We have set up a Honeymoon Fund on this website. We are excited to see something new together and will be planning a trip to Wyoming and Montana in the next year.

Can I take and post a picture of the wedding on social media?

While we appreciate you wanting to snap our big moments of the night, we have a photographer and videographer to capture the evening. However, we encourage you to take fun, candid & group shots. Please snap away and use our hashtag #OneForTheBrooks2024
