Your presence has been requested at the eternal union of Nicholas Murray and Shannon Mahoney. 

14+ Event

Due to limited space, budget restrictions, and safety precautions, we have made the difficult decision that our wedding be a child-free event with the exception of those 14 years and older. We ask our guests to make other arrangements for children under the age of 14.&nbsp;

Wedding Attire

For attire, we ask to avoid bright and neon colors. We also have a section for attire inspiration. Any and all shades of white are allowed, as the bride will not be wearing white.

Non-Traditional Wedding

To no one's surprise, this will not be a traditional wedding. Decor and entertainment will be heavily inspired by gothic aesthetics. This will be during October after all...

Parking

Heinz Chapel will accommodate the parking arrangements for 40 vehicles. This is first come, first serve. The Allegheny County Courthouse does not accommodate parking, but there are nearby garages for under 10 dollars. Street parking in Pittsburgh is also free after 6pm.

RJ is the older brother of Nick. They have been there for each other through thick and thin and share a brotherly bond that will last forever. To honor what his brotherhood has meant to the groom, he has been named the Best Man.

Cory is a dear best friend of both Shannon and Nick, who became very close in 2020. To honor the meaning of his friendship, he has been named the Man of Honor.

Lauren is the older sister of Shannon. Unfortunately, she tragically and suddenly passed away in March 2022. Their sisterly bond was unlike any other. To honor her life, she has still been named a Bridesmaid, regardless of her passing. Rest in Peace, Lauren.

Sam is the eldest sister of Shannon. They share a sisterly bond that has grown stronger since the tragic loss of their beloved sister, Lauren.

Jamie is not only Shannon's cousin, but a lifelong friend. Despite living states away from each other for the first half of their lives, they maintained a meaningful friendship.

Mason is a close friend of Shannon. They met in high school, but recently reconnected thanks to Cory Roma.

Faith is a close friend of Shannon. They met in high school, but more recently reconnected thanks to Cory Roma, who reintroduced them starting a new but meaningful friendship.

Ashley is the eldest sister of Nick. She has been a pillar of wisdom and support in his life.

Intermission

In between the ceremony and reception, there will be an intermission taking just over an hour to ensure time for set up and for the couple to take photos and freshen up. During this time, we recommend the following nearby entertainment to help pass the time.

Mitchell's pub is a restaurant and bar that is just a 4 minute walk to the Allegheny County Courthouse. They are a highly acclaimed establishment with a lively environment.

The Point is a beautiful park with a large fountain in downtown Pittsburgh. It’s a beautiful area to take photos and relax before the reception. it’s a 15 minute walk to the Allegheny County Courthouse and a 5 minute drive.

Point State Park

The Tap Room is a restaurant and bar located near the Grant Street entrance of the Omni William Penn. It is a 3 minute walk to the Allegheny County Courthouse.
