About the Resort:

Sandals offers three all-inclusive resorts in St. Lucia: the Grande St. Lucian, Halcyon Beach, and Regency La Toc. We have decided to stay at the Grande St. Lucian which is located on it's own penninsula and is known for it's pristine waters and numerous activities. We have reserved a room block at the Grande Saint Lucian, in order to get the discounted rate, you must book with the family. Do not try to book online through Sandals website. Also, pleate note that you are able to travel between the three resorts via shuttle and utilize any of the amenities they offer. These are all adult-only all-inclusive resorts. We hope you understand our decision to have a "child-free" wedding and use this as an opportunity to enjoy some time to recharge.

Flight Information:

Flights can be booked independently. We will need to know your name (as it appears on your passport), date of birth, city of departure, and date of departure at least 60 days prior to the trip.

There are 2 airports you can fly into: UVF (Hewanorra Intl. Airport) and SLU (George F.L. Charles airport).

(1) Flights to St. Lucia's UVF (Hewanorra Intl. Airport) are available on Delta, United Airlines, JetBlue, AirCanada, AmericanAirlines, WestJet, and AirTransat.

Direct flight are available from Miami, Charlotte, Atlanta, Newark, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Montreal, and Toronto.

(2) Flights to SLU (George F.L. Charles Airport) are available on American Airlines, JetBlue, Delta, United Airlines, Air Canada, WestJet, Caribbean Airlines, Air Caraibes, Air Antilles, LIAT, and Air France.

Direct flights from the US to the SLU airport are available through the following cities: Miami, New York, Boston, Atlanta, New Jersey, Chicago, Montreal, and Toronto

UVF is the larger and more popular airport with dining and amenities. SLU is a much smaller airport but also closer to the resort. Please pick whatever suits your timeline and preference.

Transportation from Airport to Resort:

When you arrive at the airport you will go to the Sandals lounge/desk to transport to the resort. Shuttles are included at no charge to transport you to the resort. It is 37 miles (~120 minutes) from the UVF airport to the Grande St. Lucian resort. Travel time from SLU to the resort is 8 miles (~15-20 minutes).

Private cars are available if you would like for an additional fee (~$160 for 2 people).

Lodging:

Sandals does not have an online link to book with a group so all rooms must be booked with us to ensure the group rate. Please reach out to Shannon (601-421-6059), Matt (901-826-8294), or Shannon's Mom, Gerrie (601-506-2231) to book, or with any questions.

We have reserved 2 room types, all of which are for a 5-day/4-night stay. The arrival date is Thursday, November 6th and a departure date Monday, November 10th. We feel this will accomodate most travelers, if you do want to extend you stay, please let us know prior to booking so that we can get an updated rate for you. The 2 room options are the Double Carribean Walkout Deluxe and the Double Lover's Lagoon Honeymoon premium. These are all double occupancy rooms and priced as such. Meaning, if you are traveling alone, you will be charged for the second person who could have occupied the room.

Room Pricing (this is for 2 people in 1 room):

Double Caribbean Walkout Deluxe: $812.79 per night ($3251.17 for 4 nights)

Lover's Lagoon Honeymoon Premium: $841.27 per night ($3365.19 for 4 nights)

Once we have booked your room, you will be given an individual booking number. You will use this to check in on the Sandals app or website 30 days prior to departure. Note, that the information for this site is the same as the Sandals Rewards (see below) so you do not need to create 2 separate accounts.

A down payment of 10% is due when booking the trip. Payment is due in full 60 days prior to the trip (September 8th).

Please note insurance must be requested before the room or group is paid in full so please let us know if you indend to purchase trip insurance. You can also buy your own insurance policy if you have another company you want to work with. All insurance questions on TripMate and what is covered when it’s added are directed to TripMate. Insurance is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Expected cost of insurance is $124 per person.

Sandals Select Rewards Members:

Yes, you can use rewards and get SSG points for your trip. If you do not have a rewards account, you can sign up for one on https://sandalsselect.com/ . Once you have a rewards number, please be sure to give that number to Shannon, Matt, or Gerrie prior to booking so we can ensure the number is added to your stay.
