Tim and Shannon met in medical school at the Athens campus of the Medical College of Georgia. Their relationship started out as friendly neighbors in the on-campus cul-de-sac. This is when love at first sight struck - Henry, Shannon's beloved goldendoodle, caught Tim's eye. Not long after, Shannon began parading Henry around the cul-de-sac much more frequently.

It took a few years, but eventually the two started dating and committed to supporting each other through residency in Denver, Colorado. There they added Homer, their sheepadoodle, to the family, and made several trips to visit Tim's brother Jonathan in Olympia, Washington - a new favorite spot.

The couple is now back in Atlanta, Georgia where they married in an intimate wedding ceremony at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens on July 31st, 2021. An important part of the couple's heritage and home to many extended relatives, Ireland will serve as the final wedding celebration and the beginning of the next chapter!
