Our Story starts 10 long years ago, the first time I was a trivia jockey. I was running a game at Wintzells and one of our regular teams was called "Timmy K". Timothy apparently admired me from afar for awhile until we became friends. Timothy was sure of his feelings for me, but it took me quite some time to realize how I felt. Timothy waited patiently (mostly). In January of 2016, we had our first date, The Order of Incas ball. We had a great time, but it still took me a few more months before I was ready to make things official. Finally, at a Mobile Symphonic Pops Band concert at Cottage Hill Park, on April 16, I asked him to be my boyfriend officially.
After several years with more twist and turns, and ups and downs than a roller coaster, he proposed to me on July 20, 2021 at our favorite swing at Municipal Park.
In no hurry to get married, we waited until our Disney trip in May of 2023 to set a date. We wanted as close to our original anniversary as we could get, so it was either 4/13 or 4/20 and I didn't really want to share with any "holidays". 😊
So here we are now. The wedding is right around the corner. We've worked on ourselves and with each other to finally be in the right place for it to happen. After everything (including a few break ups), we truly feel like we are living our fairytale. We can't wait to share our wedding with all of you!
