Our Wedding

<p>We met in improv club in high school. That is where we got to know each other and is also the very place where we figured out that we had the same sense of humor. There were many times we were the only ones who laughed at our poorly thought out jokes. But I think that is was those moments that sparked our connection and interest in eachother. The first date they ever had he surprised her after work by putting a note on her windshield that she would read after work that read: "If you want to see something almost as beautiful as you, meet me here." then there was written an address. Tired after a long day at work she set off for her destination. She arrived in a parking lot right below the Bluffs in Eden Prairie where she met him. Together they took the hike up the hill just in time to capture the beautiful sunset saturating the sky in an array of colors that overlooked  a vast valley, that connected multiple cities with thick green trees. That is when we first started dating, and one of our sweetest memories. About two years went by and Brock Joined the Air Force. Knowing full well that Shannon was the one, it was just a matter of when and how the question was going to be asked. Thinking back to the day that started their adventure as a couple, he became infatuated with the idea of capturing a moment they will never be able to recreate. Just like that perfectly unique sunset two years ago. He was Stationed in Biloxi Mississippi for training and Shannon came down to visit over the Fourth of July weekend. They went to the beach to watch the fireworks with some friends, and just as the grand finale was underway, he grabbed Shannon and led her to the front of the beach to get a "picture" with the finale behind them. Before she knew it she looked at him and he was on one knee looking up at her and without hesitation he asked "Shannon Delaney O'Rourke, you are the love of my life, will you marry me?" <br></p>

Jaden Larson needs not an explanation of who he is, but rather what he is. He is the Best Man Of Honor, and with that title comes the earnest answer that he is indeed my best friend. Jaden has been apart of my world since his day 1 and my  2 months and 11 days of life. Through our unbelievably similar humor and interests, we've always had fun together, never having a dull moment. Being one of the biggest influences in my life, I've always looked up too him, and tried to reflect some of his natural good natured heart. Jaden has always encouraged and been there for me during the many trials of growing up. Ever since I was a wee lad I've been telling Jaden that he will be my Best Man Of Honor in my wedding. Now those words are undoubtedly becoming reality.

Kacey is my older sister and also my best friend. We have shared so many sweet memories together, and I honestly don't know where in life I would be without her by my side! She always knows how to make me smile and laugh on my worst of days. Kacey is a beautiful ballerina, with the biggest heart,  I love sharing  time with her dancing throughout the week. Most people mistake us for twins which we ended up accepting. I spend almost all of my days with her and I cannot imagine my special day without her by my side as my Maid of Honor!

Anna has been a huge person in my life since the first day of sophomore year in math class when she said "man, I really hate math" we've been inseparable since! Since she's moved to Wisconsin we commute to each other most weekends and spend the whole summer(s) usually with each other. She's the sunshine in my life and I can't imagine anything without her. She makes me my happiest self and I am sooo excited for her to be apart of the big wedding day!

Tim is my older brother, he is also one of the biggest influences in my life. Having sparked my interest in the military life, he was the first person I consulted before making my decision to join the Air Force. Tim easily is the life of any room he walks in and people always look forward to his attendance. He is Quick to lighten any mood with his hilarious wits and banter. Over the years we have become closer as brothers and friends. Tim hands down has been the one person I look up to most. Having led an example via spoiling his wife and really showing me what it means to be married and to undoubtedly support each other in marriage for the rest of your life. I couldn't be more happy that he will be apart of my wedding.

Ryan is my future brother in law. Ryan also happens to be one of the most gifted people I know at filmography. Ryan is a great inspiration in my life, he has a hard work ethic and is very passionate about what he does. He has definitely shown me what it means to work hard for what  you want, and how to make something of yourself. Being not only Shannons eldest sibling, but Oldest brother as well, i will admit that at first i was nervous to meet him. But getting to know him more and more over the years I've come to develop a friendship with him and I'm more than grateful to have him standing beside me during my big day.

Meghan is my younger sister, she is full of spunk and sass. I never look past her for a good joke and laugh. Meghan is a very talented dancer and is now a freshmen in high school! She is full of good advice and wise beyond her years, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her, and so excited she is apart of the wedding day!

Kelley is my beautiful sister in law who I look up to for numerous reasons, Mostly her big heart! Kelley is a killer Vikings cheerleader by day and a nurse by night! I love spending quality time and laughs with her, and my brother Ryan. I feel so blessed to have her be apart of the family and as a bridemaid!

I have actually known Shane before I even knew Shannon existed. Shane was who i wanted to be as a basketball player when I was younger. Now that I'm older, I want to be as much of a godly man as he is, and of a loving supportive husband as he is to his wife. (and still want to be as good as he is at basketball) Shane and I have been friends for a few years now and I cannot wait till he becomes my brother! I have surrounded myself with a lot of amazing influences to look up to and Shane is definitely one of them. I'm ecstatic to have him as part of my wedding day.

Nick has become an amazing friend over the past year. He is the husband of Shannon's sister Kacey, who also happens to be the Maid of Honor. Nick is a very dedicated man to his work ethic and shows an uncanny amount of persistence when it comes to reaching his goals.I'm very excited to be apart of the same family as him. Being the in-law males in the O'Rourke family, we both have discovered that we have to rely on each other to understand the craze filled hyper tempo of the nine kid O'Rourke family. I couldn't be more happy to have him as my soon to be brother-in-law, and one of my groomsmen standing beside me on the big day!

Gabi and I recently became sisters last September and I couldn't be more excited about it! Gabi is super sweet and energetic, we share lots of laughs when we're together! She also is one of the most giving people I've ever met! I am so blessed to have her in my life not only as a sister but as a friend.... and a bridemaid!!

Kyia is my future sister in law, and I am so excited about it! she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! I love having coffee dates and spending time with her in general. She often isn't home due to her job she gets to travel a lot and see lots of different places, I'm super jealous! I cannot wait to officially be her sister and have her be apart of the wedding as a bridesmaid!

Simon has been one of my best friends ever since the 3rd grade. Most, if not all of my childhood Simon and I have always been side by side.When we wouldn't be hanging out at school, we would be begging our parents to have the other spend the night or to come over for the day. So much that it got to the point where I would show up at his house with a duffel bag full of a weeks worth of clothes, and it soon became the norm. Thick as thieves, we've always had each others back and we knew our friendship would always last. I consider him one of my most valued friends and I'm so excited to have him in my wedding.

Lauren is also going to be my sister before we know it! Lauren has a huge heart and loves to give, its truly inspiring! She has been such a sweet friend over the past years, its truly been a blessing.  I am so excited to be able to be apart of her life and hers mine! Also as a bridesmaid in just a few short months!

Marcus Forney. I met Marcus in our High School orientation our freshman year. Him moving up north from Nebraska he didn't know many people our age, and as soon as we became acquaintances, we became friends. Marcus is easily one of the funniest people I know. Having the exact same sense of humor, him and I cant talk to each other without laughing uncontrollably. Marcus and I took similar yet different paths after High School. I went enlisted Air Force, and he joined the ROTC program at St. Thomas for the Air force. Being brothers in arms and best friends regardless, there has never been a doubt that he would be joining me in my big day.

Anna is also shortly going to be my sister. She is  full of sass and fun, I absolutely love spending time with her and getting to know her more and more. we share the love of taco bell and Starbucks which means we have an unbreakable bond! ;) Anna has such a big heart and I cant wait to be her sister, and have her be apart of the big day as a bridesmaid!

Brandon, or as I know him "Kerby" is my best friend in the military. I met Brandon when i was in Tech School in Mississippi. He was my bay chief and also a few weeks ahead of me in training. Later in Tech School I found out that he was going to Laughlin AFB as well. When I got to Laughlin, Kerby had just finished his in-processing and was starting his OJT. Since I've been here Kerby and I have grown close and have been going through training together. I'm very glad to have this guy not only beside me in the IFR room controlling traffic, but  also beside me during the best day of my life.
