What does western semi-formal mean?
Step into rustic country semi-formal style for our upcoming celebration. Men, go for boots, tailored jeans or dress slacks, and a crisp button-down (ties and sport coats optional). Women, opt for the perfect blend of comfort and style with dresses or jumpsuits, but please avoid jeans. Let the spirit of the West infuse elegance into your ensemble, creating a harmonious balance between laid-back charm and semi-formal sophistication. Dancing boots are of course, encouraged!
Where will the events take place?
All wedding events will take place at Brighton Acres. The ceremony will be outside under weeping birch trees; if it rains, the ceremony will move inside a beautiful rustic barn. The cocktail hour and reception will take place inside the reception hall, with an outside patio for guests to enjoy.
What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?
To ensure the seamless flow of our special day, we kindly ask all guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. Your punctuality will contribute to the smooth and joyful celebration of our union. Thank you for being a part of our cherished moment.
What is on the menu?
Savor a BBQ feast at our wedding, featuring slow-cooked meats and sides including cheesy potatoes, coleslaw, and beans. We cater to all dietary needs, ensuring everyone can relish the celebration with diverse and delightful options. Please make sure that if you have any dietary restrictions, they are noted on the RSVP.
What are the important RSVP details?
All RSVPs will be online through our website; please visit the RSVP tab and enter your full name to find your invitation. Responses to all prompts are kindly requested to ensure that we have all the necessary information to provide accomodation to all of our guests!
What is the best form of transportation to and from the venue?
Enjoy stress-free travel to the wedding with ample parking at the venue and easy access from Highway 41. Shuttle services will be provided for added convenience to and from local hotels; please indicate on your RSVP if and when shuttle services are needed as well as which hotel you will be staying at. Guests are also welcome to leave their vehicles at the venue overnight, but must be picked up by 10am the following morning. We appreciate all of our guests willing to travel to celebrate our day!
Are there hotel room blocks available for guests?
Certainly! We've arranged room blocks with select hotels in the area. For more information, please refer to the "Travel" page, where you'll find details for the hotels that have allowed blocks to be set up. While we've listed other hotels in the area, it's important to note that room blocks are exclusively established with those explicitly mentioned.
