Where do I even start with Kelly? She’s my older sister, my lifelong role model, and the person who’s been making me laugh for as long as I can remember. She’s been there for every milestone—offering love, support, and just the right amount of sarcasm when needed. From childhood adventures to being my go-to for advice and belly laughs, she’s been my built-in best friend through it all. I love our inside jokes, phone chats, and unbelievable sister love. Kelly has incredible patience, especially for me…and trust me I pushed it as far as I could. She’s been the exact big sister anyone would want and I needed and I Love her so much for it. Having her by my side on this day means everything—because honestly, I wouldn’t be who I am without her.

My Womb-mate Scott. Scott knows me as well as I know my self. This also means he knows how to get under my skin better than anyone else but that goes both ways. Growing up, we never knew where life would take us but we knew we would remain in close proximity to each other. After he finished college, he moved to Texas with me so we could figure out what we would get into next.

Some friendships are meant to be—and apparently, ours was destined to start on a school bus on the very first day of 4th grade. From that moment on, we were each others sidekick, and the one person who always made sure I showed up for every school activity and party—especially when I would’ve rather stayed in. We’ve grown up together, sharing endless memories with many involving our love of breakfast tacos and lotttttts of salsa, inside jokes, and more ridiculous stories than I can count. Having her by my side on this day feels just right—because she’s been there for so many firsts, and I couldn’t imagine this one without her.

I remember the day I met Cj in 2nd grade at Crestwood elementary in Covington Washington and we’ve been best friends ever since. While most friends at that age come and go, Cj was always there. One of my favorite things about him is he’s been the same guy the whole time I’ve known him. He’s always there for you no matter what. It’s been so cool to see him become an amazing father and husband and I’m so proud to call him my friend.

Fatimata isn’t just a friend—she’s become family and the younger sister I always wanted. She’s absolutely brilliant, unbelievably kind, and has the sweetest heart. From the moment she became part of our lives, she’s brought warmth, laughter, and love into every moment we’ve shared. It’s hard to imagine this day without her by my side, and having her here makes this celebration feel truly complete.

Brian is the kind of guy who always has your back, no matter what. We often found ourselves having a drink and getting into deep conversations. He’s always down to hang out, dog sit, try out a new bar or just play video games online. Brian is always the calm level headed person that I can go to for anything, even relationship advice. Brian is actually the one who convinced(or forced) me to get on Tinder. At the time I was doing it for him so he would quit bothering me about it. Little did we know, I would meet Shannon this way, Thanks Brian!

My sister may not know this(because I never would admit this when I was younger) but I’ve always looked up to her. She’s significantly smarter than I am, big surprise. She spoiled the magic of Christmas pretty early on for Scott and I, however, she taught me a lot more. She filled the big sister role very well although I do recall being framed for a few minor infractions around the house growing up but we are adults now, I can get over that right?

My friendship with Jose didn’t take time to build—it was quite literally instant. We met at my very first serving job, Fish City Grill, and by the end of day one, we were already out for drinks and dancing like lifelong friends. From that moment on, he’s been my best friend, partner in crime, and together we have made unforgettable memories. We both share a love of trying all the new restaurants that come into town and the hottest new music to dance/workout to. Jose is the kind of guy I can literally be exactly myself and share with him the good the bad the ugly and he still chooses to be my friend. Having him by my side for this day feels so natural—because he’s been there for every moment that’s mattered.

Nicole has become a constant in my life. Shes supported me through ups and downs, always ready with supportive advice, a listening ear, or a hilarious story to make my day better. Our daily phone calls while one or both of us are driving have become a ritual—covering everything from life’s biggest dilemmas to ridiculous topics to complete silence while we work. She’s also the amazing mom to my nephew Gavan, which makes her even more special to me. I’m lucky to have her in my life and by my side!

Karl Johnson. Karl and I have gone through it all. From the emotional challenges of being a teenager, to coincidentally both ending up in Texas, Karl has been there. Karl has excelled at every career he’s ever had. From running and managing a gym at the age of 16, to climbing to to top at his current job, Karl has the rare ability to put all of his effort into something and become incredible at it. He taught himself to play guitar and is outstanding! He also has that ability with friendship. Karl has been a big part of my life since the 5th grade and I consider myself lucky. I’ve seen Karl transform from record setting powerlifter to an incredible family man. I’m proud to have you as a friend and grooms man!

Brittany and I first met freshmen year of high school in Spanish class. She has a way of keeping life exciting, making sure there’s never a dull moment, and keeping all of us in suspense. Whether it’s through her passion of gymnastics and cheerleading, style, or unforgettable stories, she brings so much energy to our lives. I’m grateful for the years of laughter, and memories, and happy to have her standing by my side.

Dustin and I go back to EMT school. He was one of those guys who could nap through class and get a 98% on a test, while I would fill a note book with notes and barely make an 80%. Dustin quickly became an asset in class, if I sat next to him, maybe I’d do a little better on the midterm. After school, Dustin and I worked at a bar together. We spent enough time at the bar, we may as well get paid to be there right? We’ve had several jobs together over the years, at a gym, a bar, doing construction. When we were together, productivity may have gone down but we had a lot of fun!

I met Patty through my sister Kelly when they were in college and I was still in high school, and she’s been keeping me in line ever since! Patty is the one who always has it together—punctual, organized, and effortlessly on top of things. She’s built an amazing career through her hard work and determination, but beyond that, she’s one of the most thoughtful and caring people I know. I’m so grateful to have her in my life, and I can’t wait to have her by my side on this special day!

I met Jordan at a my first potter family gathering. Instantly, we had a lot to talk about both being fire fighters. From late nights drinking whiskey by the pool to working together to figure out games for the kids, Jordan has quickly become one of my favorite people and soon to be brother in law. Jordan, if you don’t know already, is an exemplary human being. He’s easy going and patient, I’m trying my best to be a little more like him.
