Our Wedding

A little over three years ago, we met through our mutual friends, Mike and Natalie. We were both sad and single, so they suggested we be sad and single together.. and now here we are! After a romantic first date at Camp Nowhere, where Pat showed up almost an hour late, the two of us were inseparable. After living in three apartments together, we finally bought a house in Warwick where we live with our cheesy beanies, Manchego, Truffle, and Colby Jack. 

Our love story

Shannon’s Version: We were “going out to dinner’ at Harbor Lights to meet some friends for dinner when the person we were meeting forgot his wallet so had to turn around. Luckily for Pat, I was oblivious so when he suggested going to walk around Rocky Point Park to kill time, I said sure with no question! After walking for a few minutes we got to a spot where we usually sit and look at the water and that is where he broke the news that there was no dinner, but then he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring so that made up for the lack of dinner! Pat had made such an effort, while I was away at a bachelorette party, where I was telling my friends I didn’t think Pat would propose to me anytime soon, he was visiting the proposal site to plan the perfect spot to get that picture perfect moment!
