We swiped right on each other in November 2015. Leslie lived on the farm, and Shannon in the big city, so we wooed each other through text messages and weekend excursions. Remind us to tell you about the time Shannon farm sat while Leslie went out of town. Talk about a Sheepocalypse!

We moved in together when Leslie started grad school in 2017, and adopted our chubby kitty, Big Boodi Judi, in 2018. Thanks to Shannon, Leslie and Judi are both very well tended.

The pandemic made us realize two things: 1) We needed a bigger apartment, and 2) We loved being together. As we wiped down our groceries and hoarded toilet paper, we both agreed there was no one we would rather be locked down with than each other.

Once the world began reopening, we decided it was about time to throw a party. We got engaged on our 7th anniversary, announcing it to our families Thanksgiving 2022. Leslie's mom’s passing put our wedding plans on hold, but we have made up for lost time and are now looking forward to spending our special day with you this August!
