Kiersten and Shannon met in 2017 at Virginia Tech. Although they started as just dorm-mates, they became fast friends when she let Shannon unofficially bunk in her room for the entire semester during a campus housing shortage. Later on, Shannon first told Kiersten when she’d fallen in love with Nick. The three are still close friends and can’t wait to celebrate together. She’s been there for Shannon through thick and thin and is such a great friend. Fun fact: Shannon will be a bridesmaid in Kiersten’s wedding in August 2025! :)

Megan is Shannon’s older sister, hence one of her all time closest friends. She’s been there through it all; from moving around as kids to graduating college together to planning each other’s weddings, they’ve been close forever. Megan is such a kind-hearted person and always brings so much positivity and care to everything she does - such a great big sister role model! Fun fact: she moves back to the East coast this Fall, just in time for the wedding festivities!

Erin is Shannon’s younger sister and a built in bestie. They’ve grown closer over the years through a mutual love of binge watching favorite shows together (Grey’s Anatomy!), sharing music interests, and always joking around. Shannon is so proud of her because of how much she’s grown the last few years and can’t wait to go to her graduation from Notre Dame in 2025, then watch her pursue her dreams in the medical field. Fun fact: they’re going to Taylor Swift’s “the Eras Tour” together later this year!

Alicia is Nick’s triplet sister and met Shannon the first time Nick brought her home to meet the family in PA. They’ve now known each other for years and are super excited to celebrate this special time together. Fun fact: year’s ago, Alicia told Shannon how much she wanted to be her bridesmaid someday. That day is finally here!

In a total twist of fate, Casey and Shannon first met at freshman orientation at VT, but after dinner the first night, didn’t reconnect until years later when Casey coincidentally applied to work on the same team as Shannon! They’ve been fortunate enough to become close since then, and bond over all things weddings, work, and fantasy football, especially during “Chipotle Monday” lunches at the office. Casey is such a supportive friend and Shannon is not yet accepting the fact Casey is moving to the Netherlands this Fall with her fiancé!!! Fun fact: Shannon will be in Casey’s wedding in May 2025!

Claire and Shannon met in high school and have been friends ever since. Both from military families, they maintained a close friendship while living on different continents at times. From playing soccer together to hanging out altogether with our sisters, Shannon is lucky to have such a constant friend in Claire. Fun fact: Shannon rode with her family on a cross-country rode trip from VA to CA back in high school!

Kaitlyn and Shannon went to high school together, but didn’t grow closer until reconnecting at college together. Starting up a weekly brunch at the dining hall “D2”, they became fast friends over much-needed catch-ups. Shannon is lucky to have found such an amazing friend in Kaitlyn. Fun fact: Shannon will be in Kaitlyn’s wedding in August 2024!

The honor of being Nick's best man goes to his brother Stephen.

Sean is Nick's future brother-in-law. Sean is a pilot in the Navy and father to Nick and Shannon's Nephew & Godson, Flynn.

Nick and Will met freshman year at Virginia Tech in 2016. Will and Haley traveled from Alaska to vacation with Nick and Shannon in Hawaii in February 2024, just after Nick proposed!

Nick and Ethan met freshman year at Virginia Tech in 2016 and have been good friends ever since. Nick lived with Ethan's parents for a while while beginning to work in NOVA and while there, honed in on his cooking skills by making Mr. Richie dinners!

Nick and Sagar met in 2022 at Fort Leonard Wood while attending Engineer Basic Officer Leadership Course. They have been roommates for the last 2+ years in NOVA.

Michael is Nick's younger cousin. He is currently a junior studying Economics at the University of Texas in Austin.

Jared and Nick have been friends since middle school. Jared attended the much-hated Penn State University over Virginia Tech, but Nick doesn't hold it against him!
