On April 15, 2009 it was a Match! Little did we know then it would be a “match success story”. Dan picked me up for the first date at Panera Bread during our lunch breaks. He was so excited about his new Blackberry that he had just picked up and I was excited about my new shoes that would miraculously get my butt in shape. The lunch date went well so we decided to go on another date, dinner and a movie. Dan lost his credit card somewhere and didn’t realize it until we were paying our check. So now he is on his phone, and he didn’t bring any money to the date, good thing I was already smitten! Fast forward three years and we moved in together and to this day he is still on his phone and I am still waiting for that miracle! 😊

In 2021 Dan surprised me for my 50th birthday with an unexpected group of family and friends meeting us in Islamorada to celebrate. In addition to having friends and family there for the birthday party, he surprised us all with the long-awaited proposal! It may have taken 12 years but it was certainly worth the wait!

We love to travel and one of our favorite vacations is going to Key West in October to celebrate my birthday. This is why we chose to have our wedding in Key West. It is our happy place where we are relaxed and our best selves.

Invitations will be coming out in October with an RSVP date in December. Since we are out of town our vendors are requiring us to have our numbers in early.

We hope that you can join us on our special day! We recognize that with a destination wedding other commitments such as family and work may make it so you are unable to attend.
