Shannon and Brandon met at her sister's surprise 23rd birthday party in March of 2017. Little did Shannon know she would be getting the best surprise of a lifetime that night!


She was actually the last of her family to meet Brandon - Her sister and brother in-law met him while dirt biking together a couple years prior and became friends. When Brandon was invited to the party, Shannon's parents took an instant liking to him and they partied together all night!Throughout the evening, Shannon and Brandon couldn’t help but catch one another’s attention from across the room…


A week later, he asked her on a date and by May 5th they made things official. After 3 and a half years of packing their bags every weekend and driving an hour to see one another, Shannon moved in with Brandon and his family. Then in 2023, they bought their first home together in St. Marys. That following Christmas Eve, just like their grandparents had, Brandon got down on one knee and she shouted yes!
