Who would have thought?

We reminisce to 4 years ago and are shocked to say that we are that couple who first met at a bar! Luckily, we can thank the fate of our small town "everyone knows everyone" mentally and can give credit to 2 amazing ladies who influenced two groups that joined into one that led to an introduction and a never ending love story. From dinner dates and T.O road trips cheering on the Jays to co-ed ball games and endless Vietnamese Food; the adventures continued and lead to our biggest milestone to date by buying a home in December 2015. As Shannon attempted to stand her ground and hold out until the Spring, Alex was determined to adopting a dog and in January 2016, following a turn of events, we adopted Spencer who is our forever "puppy" and the most amazing gift to our family.

The adventure continued this past January as Alex and Spencer had a plan involving a routine walk in the back during a snowy Saturday morning. Dressed to impress with our winter boots and sports themed toques, Shannon was once again 5 steps ahead and turned around to Alex down on one knee asking to forever commit to our family with a beautiful ring and a trail cam snapshot to capture the amazing moment.

Today, we are planning a day to celebrate all that life has offered with our family and friends who have showed us continuous love and support through all of our life's endeavours and we cannot wait to finally say I do with all of you!
