Through hurricanes, a pandemic and toilet paper shortages; Shannon and Stephen have overcome numerous obstacles on their path together and come out stronger on the other side. Meeting in 2018 when Shannon arrived for a FedEx pickup at Stephen’s work, Shannon was met with a shrug and “I just call him Flash” when asking a coworker for his name. Shannon deftly avoided the topic until Stephen nervously slipped her his name and number a few days later. After an unforgettable first date in OTR they were destined for an eternity together. The relationship soon evolved when placed in the pressure cooker of a shelter-in-place order during the pandemic, emerging with an increased appreciation for each other… and a dog. Shannon may comment with a smile that the proposal came a little too long after but both will happily say it was never an “if” but a “when”. Though different in many ways, Shannon and Stephen cherish their ability to compliment and surprise each each other; deeply caring for each other in their own unique ways. Shannon; smart, honest and willful. Stephen; kind, helpful and accommodating. Together with their closest friends and family who have made this all possible, Stephen and Shannon are excited to celebrate the beginning of their happily ever after and sincerely wish you will be able to join them.
