Amanda and Shannon have been friends since 5th grade. They first bonded over their stupid sense of humor, and soon shared a love of making fun of Lexi (Amanda's sister). They spent an absurd amount of time filming videos to put on youtube and also watching stupid videos on the internet. Amanda is a guitar hero expert and an avid hunter/fisherwoman. Amanda is the type of friend you can go months without talking to, and pick up right where you left off.

Amy spotted Bri driving her excessively lifted black Toyota Tacoma across a parking lot at Vance Air Force base, pointed and proclaimed to another classmate, "that girl right there? She's doesn't know it yet but we're going to be besties." This decision was based solely off the cool truck and badass pilot factor, but it has proven a top five decision in Amy's life. Bri is the most interesting woman in the world. Pilot, artist, math major; she'll shoot a buck in the morning and rock a formal dance in the evening.

Shannon met Ryan when he started his job in the lab at Surly. They quickly became friends and bonded over their love of traditional beer styles, goofy humor, and Finnigan (Ryan's tiny-faced dog). Please see photo for proof of tiny face. Ryan and his wife Abby, Amy and Shannon regularly swap hosting family dinners, trying out a variety of Half Baked Harvest recipes, and heading up north.

Ryan Bross

Shannon met Greg during her short 8 months living in Arkansas. Greg has played a crucial part in Shannon's brewing career, starting off as her head brewer at Diamond Bear in North Little Rock. Greg and Shannon have shared a lot of laughs and beers together, and they'll be doing more of the same in the future.

Amy and Andrew met when they were both locked out of Luter Hall at Wake Forest University in the fall of 2009. Over their four years at Wake Andrew was one of Amy's biggest supporters as well as post graduation. The two  never missed an opportunity to grab a drink when the military put Amy in Andrew's vicinity. And Andrew trekked all the way to Enid Oklahoma for Amy's graduation from pilot training!

Shannon and Leila have been friends since kindergarten and they have endless memories together. Leila was like the sister Shannon never had, and she frequently traveled with the Stroh family on their extended road trips. Leila was so popular at the Stroh cabin, she even had her own bed! Leila referred to Shannons's dad as "Mr. Shannon" and they share some of the same humor to this day.

Amy and Tabby met at Fort Jackson in Columbia South Carolina while attending Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC). They successfully packed a lifetime of adventure into 6 months; motorcycling the length of the Florida Keys, backpacking Europe 'until the money ran out,' putting in countless hours road-tripping, and accomplishing lot of beer drinking at the Flying Saucer.

Shannon and Emma met during training at Vertical Endeavors. Emma still holds the role of "Best Climbing Partner" in Shannon's heart, whether Amy knows it or not. Emma has held a very important part in Shannon and Amy's relationship, and continues to be one of their biggest cheerleaders.

Amy and Abby met when Amy (wildly frustrated by the outcome of a training flight) stepped into Abby's office, stated: "I'm sorry I don't normally cry but I am very frustrated..." and burst into tears. Abby supplied a lot of kleenexes and understanding nods. 10/10

Lauren has known Shannon since birth (literally). Lauren has been through every up and down of life with Shannon since the very beginning, and continues to be to this day. If there was a prize for longest friendship in Shannon's life, Lauren would hold it.

Amy and Tierra first met in 3rd grade on a joint family ski trip, but their dads were roommates years before as new-hires at Hawaiian Airlines. Amy and Tierra followed in their fathers aviation footsteps; supporting one another professionally and personally, and always ready to catch a flight to a new adventure.

Tierra Bickford

Katie and Shannon were randomly selected roommates their freshman year at St. Kate's, and they remained roommates through senior year. When Katie heard of Steve's passing, she proceeded to buy a sympathy card for Shannon that lived in her dresser the entire year, because she was too scared to give it to her.

When Amy's youngest brother Ben was born,  Amy responded "another one of them?" and all hope for a sister was dashed. Lindsey was the long awaited answer to that prayer! The best sister in law a girl could ask for and the only person in the world who can convince Amy to go shopping somewhere other than REI.

A childhood of roughhousing, cabin adventures, and countless hours on the lake; I couldn't imagine taking this next step without 'the boys' to help us usher in this next phase! My biggest support squadron and all have helped me move multiple times, gut my backyard, and tackle every project my 131 year old house throws at me.

David, Sam, and Ben Forbes

David Clement once changed a flat tire on the side of a mountain, in the middle-of-nowhere Montana with nothing but a couple of rocks and sheer force of will. Nothing can stop this man. Amy originally requested he parachute in wearing nothing but ranger panties and a fanny pack of flowers. Who knows, might still happen.

Amy rescued Mr. Guinness from the Forsyth Humane society when she was a junior in college. Guinness became an expert at being smuggled in and out of dorm rooms and the library. Amy and Guinness have been together ever since and Shannon is definitely his second favorite parent ;)

Dr. Jones was discovered by Shannon at the Enid SPCA animal shelter. Amy and Shannon would regularly volunteer there while Amy was at pilot training. After first seeing Indy, Shannon went home and told Amy "we cannot go volunteer this afternoon. There is a dog there and if you see her you will adopt her." Indy is the sweetest lady and David Clement's no. 1 fan.

!!CAMPING ONLY!!There will be no showers, but there will be running water and fancy port-a potties. This is for guests who have camping gear and are looking to avoid driving after the reception. Please text Amy or Shannon if you plan on camping, so we have an idea of how many people we need to accommodate.

This hotel is roughly a 40 minute drive from the venue. Transportation will be provided to and from venue!Joy Ride shuttle will depart Hotel Rapids for the wedding at 3:45 PM on September 3. Returning shuttles will depart the venue at 10:00PM and Midnight.
