There are plenty of great things to do around Loveland that we have enjoyed together many times throughout our relationship. Below is a list of some of our top recommendations, and if you're looking for more, check out this page from our wedding venue!
Less than a 20 minute drive from our venue, have a blast at the 3rd-best theme park in the nation according to USA Today! With over 350 acres of rollercoasters, rides, waterpark fun, live entertainment, food, and Cincinnati events, all in a magical amusement park setting, you're all but guaranteed to have a great time with family or friends.
This is one of the best spots in and around Loveland, and its less than 5 minutes from our venue! Rent bikes and go down the 70+ mile paved path, explore the shops and restaurants around the path and the block, take a quick walk down to the river and dive in, or simply walk around and enjoy the fresh air. Right before our senior prom, Austin and I stopped by the Trailside Ice Shack; we highly recommend it!
Less than a 5 minute drive from our wedding venue, rent bicycles and cruise down the historic Loveland Bike Trail to your heart's content! Located right on the trail by Nisbet Park, you'll have no problem accessing over 70 miles of paved bike paths winding through the Little Miami Valley.
Less than 5 minutes from our venue, enjoy the Little Miami River as you paddle through some of the most beautiful, natural surroundings in the Tri-State region. With it’s designation as a State and National Scenic River, this section of the Little Miami looks much the way it did 200 years ago with rolling, majestic banks, pristine waters and natural vegetation. Visitors often delight in the viewing of wildlife like the Great Blue Heron and numerous other birds, various species of turtles, frogs and fish that inhabit this special river.

Just under 15 minutes from our venue, book a round at Austin's home golf course. We have always found it to be well-manicured and quite inexpensive if you're looking for a great value round. This public, par 70 course features 18 holes of beautifully manicured fairways and greens. With 6,145 yards of treelined fairways, tricky doglegs left and right, and enough rolling terrain to keep your attention, this course is a challenge to players of all levels.
Located a quick 30 minute drive away from our venue, you'll find the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden — the sixth oldest zoo in the United States, and widely considered as one of the best zoos in the country. Cincinnati Zoo is most renowned for its endangered species and birthing programs, particularly for gorillas and white tigers, and has a wonderful collection of felines and a delightful manatees exhibit.
Less than 30 minutes from our venue, enjoy an action-packed evening of arcade games, food, drinks, billiards, sports watching, and more at Dave & Buster's.
