Where is the wedding
Shanthony's Wedding Retreat! 28603 North Saddletramp Way, Queen Creek, AZ 85142 This is where Shannon, Anthony & Celia are staying and where the wedding/pool party is. Be sure to enter this address for navigation to our wedding and cross-checking proximity when booking your lodging accommodations. There is plenty of parking on site.
What is the preferred wedding attire
It will be warm so dress light and comfortable. We love color and it's a wedding after all so think resort/ beach casual with some flair! Also, it's a pool party so wear your swimsuit underneath or bring it to change into. Also, a hat and sunscreen is recommended.
When should I arrive for the ceremony
The ceremony is from 4:00 PM–4:30 PM. Please arrive between 3:30 and 4pm. Our full wedding day itinerary is on the home page.
Should I bring a gift
No thank you. We have everything we need and appreciate the time and expense for guests to join us down in the dessert!
Is the wedding child friendly
Yes, we will have several kids at the wedding to play with each other! Kids are also welcome to the farewell brunch! However, adults only please for the party bus on Thursday night and golf on Friday.
Can I bring a plus one
Unfortunately, due to limited guest capacity, we can only accommodate the specific invitees on your invitation. Thanks for understanding!
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card
Please RSVP online via the RSVP tab or home page. We are not doing paper RSVP cards, so no need to mail anything back.
When is the deadline to rsvp and do I need to rsvp to all events
Please RSVP by March 3rd at the latest. Yes, please RSVP or decline all 4 wedding events so we know final guest counts for each event. Much appreciated!
Will the wedding be outside
Yes, we will have a short ceremony outside followed by an outdoor pool party. There will be covered areas and the house will be comfortably air conditioned to take a cool down break and visit indoors.
How hot will it be
The average Phoenix temp in early May is 85-95 degrees. The dry heat DOES make a difference and feels cooler than what 85-95 degrees feels like in Seattle or Sacramento. Trust us!
What type of food will be served at the wedding
We'll be serving appetizers during the pool party followed by a dinner buffet with authentic Southwest/Mexican options and dessert! We will have dairy free and gluten free selections for the appetizers and dinner buffet.
Will there be a bar
We will have a selection of beers, seltzers and wines for everyone to help themselves to. No hard liquor please.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding
Certainly, snap away! We will have a professional photographer so we simply ask guests allow him space to work and capture his pro shots!
Can I post wedding photos on social media
Yes! Please tag Shannon and Anthony so we can see the fun!
Will there be other events to attend for the wedding weekend
Yes! We are having a party bus/bar crawl Thursday night, golf with Papa Mitch on Friday morning and a farewell brunch on Sunday. All events are optional and we ask that you please RSVP or decline each event so we know final head counts for everything.
