Lodging

More than anything we want to spend as much time as we can with the people who love us the most while also being mindful of the cost of attendance for our destination wedding.

For this reason, we've completely rented out Pelaca Resort for the week. This resort consists of 6 separate apartments than can lodge 4 people each. We will have exclusive use of the pool and olive gardens for the week.

To encourage your attendance, we've opted to offset some of your lodging expenses to bring down the total cost of lodging to ~$500 per person for the entire week. This price may change slightly based on the amount of people in each apartment.

To reserve a spot in the villa (whether you stay the entire time or take a few days to yourself), please Venmo/Zelle either Shannon or Jason to officially confirm your spot in the villa before March 1, 2025. If you do not want to stay in the villa and would rather look into other local options, please let us know ASAP so we can fill your spot in the villa.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to Shannon or Jason about questions or concerns about these associated expenses and if you need any assistance with planning travel. We love you!

Getting to Italy

We recommend flying into Venice, Milan, or Verona.

July is peak season for Italy so we recommend buying flights early.

Shannon and Jason (+family) will be flying into Venice on 7/10 and will stay in the city for 2 nights before the wedding festivities begin. Everyone is welcome to join us in Venice, Verona, or at Pelaca Resort.

Getting to Pelaca Resort

Resort Parking:

There is adequate parking right outside the villa, with 2 spots available per apartment. Once we receive RSVPs, we will group our lovely friends into apartments and encourage you to split expenses for rental cars (optional) and groceries over the course of the week.

From Venice:

1.5 hours by car or train (~$12) to Verona

From Verona:

Rental Cars starting at $50/day for a 1 hour 15 minute drive

Public Transit would take 2.5 hours

If many of us can make it to Verona, we will explore carpool and/or chartering a small bus to take us to the resort

From Milan:

Rental cars starting at $50/day for a 2 hour drive

Public transit would take about 2 hours 45 minutes

*Shannon has done ample research on travel around Northern Italy so please reach out if you need any assistance/advice!
