It all started when Shannon needed new tires for her car. It was about one week before her 30th birthday when her mom, Joy, came in to her room asking what she wanted for her birthday. There really wasn't anything she specifically wanted or needed, so her mom offered to buy her new tires. Shannon called her friend Chad, who had just recently started a new job at Parkhouse tires. He said he could give her a good deal on four new tires if she came in to the shop. The following week, Chad called Shannon to tell her that her tires had come in if she wanted to come get them put on the next day, which just so happened to be her birthday.

It was 7:00AM, January 15, 2020 when Shannon walked in to the office of Parkhouse tires. Chad was sitting at his desk, which was right next to the waiting area where Shannon was sitting, waiting for her tires to get put on. As she sat there, Jonathan walked out of the office just right next to her. They had one look at each other. No words exchanged, just one look. As Chad was walking Shannon out to her car, he asked her what she thought of his dispatcher, Jonathan. Obviously she was smitten and so he gave her number to Jonathan after she left.

Jonathan text her a couple hours later introducing himself followed by a "Happy Birthday". They went out to lunch the following week, spoke every single day after that, and the rest is history. He proposed ten months later on a bench swing by a beautiful secluded lake in Washington.
