Henry and Shannon grew up just 15 miles apart. Henry in Watertown, WI, and Shannon in the bustling metropolis of Lake Mills (population: cows). Despite their proximity, fate kept them blissfully unaware of each other’s existence for nearly two decades.

Their lives crossed paths a few times, but at the time of their first interaction, both were working at River Bend RV Resort. If this were a Hallmark movie, their eyes would’ve met in that overly chlorinated hot tub, and the rest would be history.

But no.

They barely noticed each other. Romance didn’t bloom amid burnt s’mores and golf carts. (Although fun fact: Henry and Shannon are now the third Strupp generation to find love at River Bend.)

Eventually, they reconnected after their time at River Bend and decided to catch up over breakfast at Main St. Café. It went so well that Shannon was roped into "playing" frisbee at Brandt Quirk Park, and then, the rest was history.

Today, Henry and Shannon share a cozy apartment in Beloit, Wisconsin. Their days are filled with simple joys: exploring the outdoors, discovering new brunch spots, supporting each other’s goals, and most importantly, growing together in their faith.

Together, they’ve built a life rooted in love, laughter, and the kind of partnership that turns everyday moments into lasting memories. Now, they’re beyond excited to take the next step in their journey and officially begin their forever, side by side.
