20 years ago, out with some mutual friends, 2 young kids met while shaking their tail feathers. With an instant connection, our friendship began. The friendship that eventually built the base for our incredible love story.

We both knew the connection we had and our friends never failed to tell us how "perfect" we were for each other. Life had other plans for us at that time, but we maintained a friendship through it all. We were always a call away... for a major life event, a good laugh, a cry or just to catch up.

After all these years and life taking us both for a ride, the stars finally aligned. A call to catch up, a get together for a quick drink.... and the rest is history. We were inseparable and we were falling. And falling fast. We both knew, this was our time. Life had taught us all the lessons we needed to be able to cherish, nurture and grow this love.

We were re-introduced to each others families, who quickly saw the special connection we shared. I also knew from years prior that mom always liked Kevin, which means a lot to us both. This all made our life and choices so much easier.

This was it. The love we had both deserved. The love we had both longed for. The love we knew, all those years ago, was so very special.
