In December 2021, Shaq and Chakari came across one another’s profile on a social media app. They were a match! The two of them immediately began following each other on instagram.

After a few months of flirting, messaging one another and liking each other’s pictures. Shaq finally asked Chakari out on a date. Chakari gave Shaq her number and the rest is history. They have been together since. During their courting stage they’ve enjoyed each other’s company, fine dinning and trips together.

On Chakari’s birthday October 28, 2022, Shaq proposed during a surprise birthday dinner in front of his family, in his hometown Sunset, Louisiana.

April 8, 2023, they welcomed their first child together, A’nyri Belson. A’nyri is blessed to have two older brothers, Jessiah and Kingston.
