We met in 2013 at IYC St. Charles. King came there to work after IYC Joliet closed. We started off as coworkers and quickly became close friends. We spent hours on the phone each night getting to know each other.

Our first date was at Maggiano's in Naperville. From that day on we spoke everyday and had many more dates. As our relationship grew we introduced each other to our children and family. We took our first family vacation to Disney World in 2016.

King proposed on Christmas Day 2022. We got married March 18, 2023. It was a small ceremony with just our immediate family. Now we are planning to have the wedding of our dreams on our 1 year anniversary!
