Alona Beach is the most famous tourist hub in Bohol, located on the southwestern tip of Panglao Island! Famous for its 1.5-kilometer stretch of powdery white sand and vibrant nightlife, it is a central jump-off point for island-hopping and diving tours.

If you're looking for a good view or relaxing hike during your stay, visit the legendary Bohol Chocolate Hills. This area is a highly-rated national monument, containing hundreds of large hills which turn to a chocolate color during the dry season, and dark green during the wet season. These hills are also home to Philippine Tarsiers!

If you're into viewing new wildlife, explore the Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area! This conservation area provides a sanctuary to the Philippine Tarsier, an endangered primate species who have historically inhabited rainforests around the world for the past 45 million years, but who now only inhabit areas of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. If you can beat one in a staring contest, Brennan will buy you a drink!

Visiting the breathtaking Sardine Run off Moalboal's shore of Cebu Island is a must-see for tourists. Many sardines gather around Panagsama Beach, just in front of Savedra Dive Centre, inviting you to witness their incredible schooling behavior and how they react to your presence--all occurring only 30 meters away from the coast! This private tour is insured and includes snorkeling masks and fins so you get to enjoy an up-close encounter with the sardines.

Balicasag Island is a gorgeous tiny island off the SW coast of Bohol, and is famous for being a divers sanctuary. It provides beautiful white-sand beaches for those who want to relax and soak up the sun, and for those adventurers out there, it provides unmatched diving and snorkeling opportunities alongside sea turtles and schools of jack, barracuda, and other marine animals. This is an outstanding opportunity to enjoy coral reefs and the animals and sea anemone that inhabit them (bonus points if you Find Nemo!)

Another tiny island off the SW coast of Bohol and Panglao, Virgin Island is a crescent sandbar with white sand beaches, best at low tide. Wade in clear water, shoot wide horizons, and try local snacks from boat vendors while enjoying the local views and wildlife. The island is connected to one of the major islands in the national park, Governor’s Island, by a 120-meter pontoon bridge and a 546-meter zip line that visitors can ride to get from one island to the other. Visitors can take the bridge at the back of Governor’s Island only during low tide.

A sandbar also links the two islands, although the waves can be pretty strong at noontime, and the waters rise slightly above the knee. It is recommended to wear aqua shoes when walking on the sandbar as sharp corals and rocks are scattered on some parts of the seabed.
